Before and After
Thanks to our successful method, we have very satisfactory objective results, as our patients endorse.
We are a multidisciplinary team formed by an ENT surgeon and speech therapist specializing in voice feminization. The basis of our method is to combine voice feminization surgery with postoperative speech therapy, so we can do a thorough follow-up from the beginning to the end of the treatment.
Listen to our results
You can send a voice recording to give us an initial idea of whether or not you are a candidate for surgery or just need treatment with speech therapy.
Some people will only require speech therapy for voice feminization.
Our Surgery Technique
The surgical technique we use is called Wendler’s Glotoplasty, with personal modifications performed by Dr. Juan Carlos Casado. With this technique three objectives are obtained:
1. Shorten the length of the vocal cord
2. Reduce the mass of the vocal cord
3. Increase the tension of the vocal cord
In addition to surgery, patients participate in postoperative voice therapy to achieve a brighter resonance, develop natural intonation patterns, maintain a higher pitch, and establish a healthy and authentic sounding voice.
